District 9.You know, that thing you've been seeing plastered on bus stops around the nation?
Well it worked.
And it worked VERY well.
The movie is structured like a Discovery Channel special. It starts out with a few interviews and then it breaks out into the movie.
Without revealing too much, the movie actually turns into a touching story, yet it still holds a lot of action.
The effects are stunning, and all the CGI work is flawless in my opinion. Especially a lot the background shots with the mothership. It's amazing.
I really don't want to say too much about the movie, but it definitely lived up to the hype. No doubt about it.
