Bruno (R)

I thought Bruno was going to be one of those movies where they load up the trailer with the best scenes from the movie so it gets me out to the theater to see it. Then I'm only let down to realize the trailer scenes were the best part of the movie, and the rest was just a bunch of time wasting trash.

Vell vat vashnt Bruno!

The first 15 or 20 minutes will get a few laughs out of you. You might even think to yourself, "Wait, Joe said this movie was supposed to be hysterical!" Well you probably won't be able to finish that sentence because by the time you think that you'll be laughing incredibly hard with the rest of the theater.

There are some things in this movie that I would never expect to see on the big screen. If you thought the brief nudity in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" was a shocker, dear God wait until you see this movie.

Now most people may not believe that these are real life situations, but most of them really are. I think most of them except for the Paula Abdul scene are completely legit. It's really funny though to see how people criticize a "gay" man in the real world when these situations are put in front of them. There are PLENTY of other scenes in this movie to open your eyes to some other things, such as terrible parenting! It's pretty shocking to see what people say and do in this film; and it's hilarious.

When they say the this film is rated R. It's rated R+ in my opinion
That shouldn't stop you from seeing this hilarious flick.
