Coraline (PG)

Creepy.

That's one way to describe this movie. The opening scene itself is enough to slightly creep out anybody watching. Yet, it's ever so interesting.

From a Film Geek's point of view. This movie is a masterpiece. There are over 500 pictures for each second of moving film, a painstaking process to say the least, and it made me appreciate this movie that much more.

The storyline is extremley simple. Just read the promo poster above, and you got it.

Coraline has the worst parents ever. She has the kind of parents that completely tune out their children and actually make deals with them so they'll shut up. You really feel for her character, as each person she encounters treats her the same.

The movie evolves very niceley, and never really leaves out a single character. Everyone you meet in the beginning plays through to the end of the movie.

However, I didnt not get a chance to check this out in 3D for two reasons. One, I hate watching 3D movies in my house. Two, I couldn't find the glasses even if I wanted too.

All in all, Coraline takes you on a pretty tame, yet extremely interesting adventure.

Be careful what you wish for!

"Coraline" hit's stores on 7/21!

P.S. A HUGEEEE thanks to Andy (DDRFreak457/AndyFreak457) for re-doing the banner on the top of my page. He's really good with that sorta stuff, so hit him up with anything that has to do with kickin graphics!
